Therapy for Highly Sensitive & Neurodiverse People

Does your brain and body work differently than “normal?” Have you been told that you are “too emotional” or “overly sensitive?” Do you feel emotions intensely, empathize deeply with others, and become overstimulated easily? You may be a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) or Neurodiverse! High Sensitivity is a trait - not a diagnosis or a flaw - impacting 15-20% of the population. If you’re unfamiliar with this trait, click here for more info.

I have completed specialized training in working with HSPs, am an HSP myself, and parent a young HSP! I work with many sensitive and neurodiverse clients, including those with Autism & ADHD (both of which can overlap with one another and with High Sensitivity - hence the umbrella term of Neurodiversity!)

I support clients in discovering the strengths within their neurodiversity, understanding their unique needs, navigating their boundaries, and celebrating the depth that being an HSP or neurodiverse person brings to their life.

I don’t practice one-size-fits-all therapy. Each person is unique, and comes to therapy for different reasons. Our counseling sessions feel collaborative and supportive, honoring your personal goals, challenges, and strengths.

It can be difficult to find the time and energy to connect with a therapist, which is why I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. Click the button below to get started.

Highly sensitive people are too often perceived as weaklings or damaged goods. To feel intensely is not a symptom of weakness; it is the trademark of the truly alive and compassionate.
